Camp Blue Star Dining Hall
This project reimagines the campground through a comprehensive master plan that brings clarity, efficiency, and a more elevated day-to-day experience. The process begins with a strategic phasing approach, prioritizing the design of new boys’ and girls’ bathhouses while establishing a detailed as-built site plan, mapping utilities, and outlining how the campus will evolve over time.
At the heart of the plan is a new kitchen, dining facility, and open-air pavilion—designed with both experience and operations in mind. A full budget and feasibility study ensures smart decision-making from the start, while the kitchen will be fully kosher-compliant, thoughtfully organized for seamless workflows, and supported by detailed equipment planning for long-term performance.
The broader vision extends across the entire property, with new modular bunk houses to accommodate campers, targeted renovations to existing structures like the basketball pavilion, and proactive maintenance planning to extend the life of key amenities. A dedicated utility and loading zone will streamline back-of-house operations, improving efficiency without disrupting the guest experience.
Bringing it all together, a cohesive landscape strategy will enhance safety, circulation, and connectivity—creating a more intuitive, welcoming environment that elevates how the campground looks, feels, and functions.
